Together we will learn the basics of making a homemade Strawberry Butter!

(Fruit Butters do not use dairy. The word butter comes from the consistency of the preserve when finished.)

Two main goals:

• Fruit Butter making 101 (understand terminology and tools)

• Fruit Butter canning 101 (understand timing, temperatures, sterilizing, and process)

Each guest will leave with a jar of fruit butter and a reference sheet so they can continue making more at home!

• Farm Rules: No Guns, No Smoking, No Pets.

• Dress for the weather. Even if our workshop is indoors, please dress for the weather. Most of our workshops include some element of outdoor farm tour or walk-about. Do not wear open-toed shoes to the farm. Boots or hiking shoes are always the best option.

• We try to have a portable outdoor restroom for guests year-round, but this is not always possible in winter months.
